The Education Department has been troubled by recurring incidents of paper leaks.

In Agar Malwa district, the Education Department has been troubled by recurring incidents of paper leaks in recent years and is making new efforts to prevent them. This time, the Education Department has set separate question papers for the 5th and 8th grade board exams in each district, so that if a paper leak occurs in any district due to any reason, only that district’s exams are affected and not the entire state.

Amidst all this, a major negligence by the Education Department has come to light in Agar Malwa district, where during the board exams for Class 5, students were given the wrong paper. On March 6th, careless teachers distributed an English paper meant for Hindi medium students, instead of the scheduled paper which was supposed to be on March 11th. The student informed their parents about this after returning home following the exam. Upon receiving a written complaint from the student’s father, the entire incident has now been exposed.

This entire incident took place at Santosh Catholic School in Susner, Agar Malwa district, where the examination center was set up. The student, who studies in English medium, was given a Hindi medium English language paper. The student managed the paper somehow and informed their parents about the entire situation upon returning home.
